ANALYSIS ON: "BANGSAMORO STATE GOVERNMENT"
|
 |
After the recent Kuala Lumpur peace talks in April, this
year, between Philippine colonialism and the Moro
Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), a document was signed
embracing "ten (10) decision points on principles",
serving as "general directions of the substantive
negotiations" in order to formulate a political
settlement to the more than four decades Filipino-Moro
war in Mindanao. The MILF-GPH peace talks are separate
political overtures vis-a-vis the MNLF-GRP peace
negotiations undertaken by Philippine colonialism to end
the Mindanao war that started in the 1960s under
Dictator Ferdinand E. Marcos. In 1968, the Moro National
Liberation Front (MNLF) under Chairman Prof. Nur Misuari
launched the freedom struggle of the Bangsamoro people
against the murderous Marcos regime. In 1974, Dictator
Marcos was compelled to seek the mediation...

MNLF 44TH ANNIVERSARY
CELEBRATES
BANGSAMORO FREEDOM DAY
|
 |
From March 18, 1968 today, covering forty four (44)
years, the heinous Jabidah massacre of hundreds
Bangsamoro Tausug youth trainees took place in
Corregidor Island perpetrated by the Armed Forces of the
Philippines (AFP) soldiers. The globally-known day of
infamy also inspired the historical birth of the Moro
National Liberation Front (MNLF) to start launching the
freedom struggle of the oppressed Bangsamoro people of
Mindanao against Philippine colonialism under the
murderous regime of Dictator Ferdinand E. Marcos.
Significantly, March 18 has been annually celebrated
Bangsamoro Freedom Day, marking the official
proclamation of the struggle for independence and
self-determination of the Bangsamoro people under
Philippine colonialism in 1968. (READ

WHY DOES PHILIPPINE
GOVERNMENT NEED MNLF AND
MILF PEACE AGREEMENTS TO END MINDANAO WAR?
|
 |
TWO (2) PEACE AGREEMENTS! WHAT FOR?
It is quite a marvel to note that Philippine colonialism
is still playing its own game of dividing the Muslims and
Highlander natives as well as the Christian settlers of
the Bangsamoro homeland of Mindanao, Sulu and Palawan
(MINSUPALA) to end the Filipino-Moro war. It is strange
that the concept of the Manila government to find a
comprehensive solution to the Mindanao conflict is to
sign two peace accords with the Moro National Liberation
Front (MNLF) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front
(MILF). But is the colonial design workable enough to
bring 'just and lasting' peace to war-torn Mindanao?
WHY THE DELAY TO IMPLEMENT THE GRP-OIC-MNLF PEACE
AGREEMENTS?
Up to date, the
Philippine government has engaged 38 years the MNLF in peace
talks, including signing three (3) peace agreements,
specifically the 1976 Tripoli Peace Agreement, 1987 Jeddah
Peace Accord and the 1996 Jakarta Peace Agreement.

BANGSAMORO HISTORICAL NOTES
MNLF
REVITALIZATION: FROM ORIGINAL
TO UPDATE VISION
Revisiting The Original Vision
It is now written in global
history that the original vision of the founding leaders of
the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) is to regain the
complete freedom of the oppressed Bangsamoro people of
Mindanao from Philippine colonialism through defensive armed
struggle. Since the first dawn of the conception of the Moro
National Liberation Front in the late 1960s as triggered and
inspired by the heinous Jabidah Massacre of March 18, 1968,
the founding MNLF Chairman Prof. Nur Misuari and the first
90 batch Moro trainees consequently always repeatedly
proclaimed their solemn pledge right in the huge Matalam
rock inside their training camp. In unison, they always
pledged passionately and loudly the liberating words of
martyrdom: "In the name of Allah, in the name of our
oppressed people and in the name of our homeland! Victory or
to the Graveyard!
|
 |
Indeed, the
intensity of the cold-blooded massacre in
Corigidor Island of around sixty eight (68)
recruited Muslim trainees from Sulu and
Tawi-Tawi by the Armed Forces of the
Philippines (AFP) officers as sanctioned by
the Marcos regime alarmed and radicalized
the Bangsamoro people. This was compounded
by the succeeding genocidal extermination
depredations against the Muslims by the AFP
and its armed para-military troops in other
areas in mainland Mindanao, particularly in
Cotabato, Lanao, Zamboanga and Bukidnon,
resulting in massive dislocation and wanton
land-grabbing of the lands of the Muslims by
the Christian settlers supported by the
Manila government.(READ

THE 3 MOST CORRUPT PHILIPPINE PRESIDENTS -
According to a survey by Pulse Asia,

Since day one the Filipino colonizers, like Manuel L.
Quezon and gang, learned the art of plundering and
land-grabbing trade from the imperialist American
warlords in 1935, corruption has become a way of life
for the government officials in the Philippines. The
early Filipino politicians up to the present crop have
had educated themselves to believe that corruption pays,
although a moral crime. Thus, nowhere in the world today
can you mention the Filipino nation without relating it
to graft and corruption.

Scholars of Siyrah relate that a number of

among whom were Sallam Ibn Al-Hugayq An-Nadri,
Huyayy Ibn Akhtab An-Nadri, Kinanah Ibn Abu Al‑
Hugayq An-Nadri, and Haudhah Ibn Qays Al-Wa' and Abu
' Ammar Al-Wa'ili with a number of the tribe of
An-Nadir and the tribe of Wall went to Quraish at
Makkah and invited them to join them in an attack on
the Messenger so that they might get rid of him
altogether.
These words, consequently, rejoiced Quraish and they responded
gladly to their invitation to fight the Messenger and they
assembled and made their preparations. Then that company of Jews
went off to Ghattafan of Qays Aylan and invited them to fight
the Messenger and told them that they would act with them and
that Quraish had followed their leadin the matter; they too
joined in with them.(Read

BANGSAMORO HISTORICAL NOTES
CALL FOR BANGSAMORO UNITY AND THE CALL
FOR BANGSAMORO MARTYRDOM
Clearly, Allah has taught the believing humanity: "O believers!
Fear Allah as He should be feared and die not but as true
Muslims. All together hold fast to the rope of Allah (Faith of
Islam) and be not divided among yourselves." (Surah 3, Al-'Imran:
102-103)
"Be not like those, who became divided into sects and who
started to argue against each other after clear revelations had
come to them. Those responsible for division and arguments will
be sternly punished." (Surah 3, Al-'Imran: 105)
|
 |
Truly conscious of Bangsamoro unity, the patriarch of the Moro
freedom struggle against Philippine colonialism, Chairman Prof.
Nur Misuari of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), has
now taken the initiative to unite the Bangsamoro people,
including the freedom fighters and the civilian masses. Barely a
few weeks ago, the MNLF Chairman conducted a personal dialogue
with Chairman Al-Ustaj Amiril Umra Kato of the Bangsamoro
Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM) in central Mindanao.

WHY

INTRODUCING INJUSTICE AGAINST THE BANGSAMORO PEOPLE
"The time has come when we should systematically
proceed and bring about the colonization and economic
development of Mindanao. A vast and rich territory with its
untapped natural resources is a temptation of enterprising
nations that are looking for their excess population...if,
therefore, we are resolved to conserve Mindanao for
ourselves and posterity, we must bend all our efforts
to occupy and develop it and guard it against avarice and
greed. Its colonization and development will mean increased
national wealth and greater national security...their

UNDER P-NOY
WATCH: PEACE CALL TURNS TO 'ALL-OUT WAR' AND 'ALL-OUT JUSTICE'
BMNews, Zamboanga City- "It is really strange that
the civilian Philippine government now is beholden to
its military branch," said Prof. Daim Abadi, head of the
Bangsamoro Strategic Research Center (BSRC). "It is like
the Philippines and today's civilian leaders have not
taken off from the ugly vestiges of Martial Law declared
by President/Dictator Ferdinand E. Marcos in 1972 that
ultimately ended when he was bolted out from power in
1996," he further explained.
|
 |
Does this mean that the newly-created Armed Forces
of 'Pabaon' (AFP) officials can declare an "All-Out War"
anytime of the day even under a popularly-elected
Philippine president? This is apparently the case now
when suddenly All-Out War break loose in Sulu, Basilan
and Zamboanga Sibugay orchestrated by some AFP officials
to prove that they're in control of the situation and
need money fast to sustain any declared war. Also, any
time too, they can always claim and declare "victory."(READ

CHAIRMAN CHALLENGES STATE LEADERS
ON ANTI-KIDNAPPING CAMPAIGN
BMnews, Jolo, Sulu- Chairman Hj. Khaid Adjibon of
the Lupah Sug State Revolutionary Committee (LSSRC) of
the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) has recently
proclaimed the launching of an anti-kidnapping campaign
against the lawless elements in Lupah Sug (Sulu),
including trouble-making groups patronized by the
colonial Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP)
occupation forces in Sulu to create chaos and terrorize
the local populace, particularly the rural civilian
residents.
"The LSSRC-MNLF will not tolerate anymore any unIslamic
activities committed by trouble-makers making Lupah Sug
a haven of kidnappers. Kidnapping is haraam in Islam and
the MNLF is going to conduct a relentless campaign to
eradicate this anti-Islamic activity that has stained

UN OBSERVER: FROM OIC FULL MEMBERSHIP
Now comes the
Bangsamoro Question! After the Palestine problem, the
most controversial issue usually discussed in the annual
OIC Islamic Foreign Ministers Conference (ICFM) meetings
is the Filipino-Moro war in Mindanao that until now is
wanting comprehensive solution. Despite the forging of
the 1976 Tripoli Peace Agreement, the 1987 Jeddah Accord
and the 1996 Jakarta Peace Agreement concurred with the
active participation of the OIC, the Bangsamoro Question
remains still a thorny issue in the OIC.
Unresolved. Chaotic. Threatening. Still courting
humanitarian disaster for the colonized Bangsamoro

PARRANG SABIL (WAR FOR MARTYRDOM)
IS AGAIN ON THE RISE
BMNews, Jolo, Sulu - Parrang Sabil or 'war
for martyrdom' is back in Moroland to haunt the present
colonial Filipino invaders in Mindanao. In the island of
Lupah Sug (Sulu), particularly in Talipao town, around
fifty Tausug spiritual warriors known as 'Awliya'
freedom fighters headed by Hatib Zakaria staged a
martyrdom attack on the camp of the colonial Filipino
Marine occupation forces before dawn of September 24,
killing two soldiers and injuring several others. The
term 'Awliya' is referred to the 'saints' or
helpers/supporters of Allah in preserving and
propagating Islam religion. It is now seen that
parrang sabil ('huramentado' to the piratical
Spanish colonizers in the earliest period) has
resurrected to remind the Christian Filipino military
colonialists that they are never welcomed in the
Bangsamoro homeland similarly like the Spanish and
American invaders in the past.

MINDANAO PEACE VISION OF

By: R. Rayhan R.
The tragic demise
of the late Senator Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino, Jr., thanks
and no thanks to the dreadful Marcos Dictatorship, was
shared by both the Filipino and Bangsamoro masses as a
great loss. While the notorious President/Dictator
Ferdinand Marcos figured in the brutal suppression of
the fundamental human rights of the battered Filipinos
and the genocidal extermination of the Muslims of the
Bangsamoro homeland of Mindanao, Sulu and Palawan
(MINSUPALA), Senator Benigno Aquino, Jr. symbolized a
democratic icon to the Filipino society. He also batted
for the self-determination of the oppressed and
colonized Bangsamoro people based on justice, peace and

Since
time immemorial, the historical past of Mindanaw had always been
embedded in tragic wars. Clearly, the tragedy had been always an
imposed one. The series of tragic strife were never the making
of the native inhabitants – the warrior Moros and the other
ethnic communities – but brought upon their doorsteps by the
western pirates, who crossed the thousand-mile sea journey to
bring chaos and turmoil into the Mindanaw heartland to satisfy

The Comeback of Nur Misuari
By: JOHN REMOLLO PETALCORIN
MNLF Director for Advocacy Communication
In March 2001, the Arroyo
Administration of the Government of the Republic of the
Philippines (GRPH) suggested to Nur Misuari that MNLF should
democratize and have a Central Committee to handle different
aspects of the projects in Mindanao for a speedy implementation
of the 1996 peace agreement. The suggestion was accepted by MNLF
Leader Nur Misuari in good faith and he formed this 15-man
council. Nur never thought that the suggestion was a Trojan
Horse. Using an element of surprise, the 15-man
members of the Central Committee swiftly executed a "Hostile
Organizational Takeover" on the leadership of Nur Misuari over
the MNLF on 27 May 2001. It was a treacherous take over.
