CATCHING FIRE

Using digital trend Facebook in
gauging the sentiments and aspirations of the literate
sector of the Bangsamoro people, the structural spirit
of freedom through the strong precise political
statement, 'Free Bangsamoro', is sure catching fire in
the consciousness of the colonised natives of Mindanao
under Philippine colonialism. Using digital trend
Facebook in gauging the sentiments and aspirations of
the literate sector of the Bangsamoro people, the
structural spirit of freedom through the strong precise
political statement, 'Free Bangsamoro', is sure catching
fire in the consciousness of the colonised natives of
Mindanao under Philippine colonialism. On this eventful
development, the Bangsamoro people now have to
congratulate themselves for they have started to manage
pursuing their definite destiny. Uncompromisingly taking
center stage to help realise the dream and vision of
every freedom-loving Bangsamoro, it is appropriate to
extend deep gratitude to the following Facebook friends
and support groups:
Of particular interest and worth
mentioning is the novel idea broached by one elder of
the Bangsamoro Freedom Solidarity (BFS), Brother Ansari
D. Alonto, who proposed |

for the Bangsamoro people to equate the
peaceful 'Arab Spring' revolution in the Middle East that
created a storm leading to reformative changes in Tunisia,
Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yemen and possibly still in all Arab
countries. Accepting the bold challenge, the Bangsamoro youth
launched 'Bangsamroro Ramadan Mubarak' continuing now to 'Bangsamoro
UN Mubarak' that was sparked by the principled bold diplomatic
move of the Palestinian people under President Mahmoud Abbas to
seek UN full membership.
Today, the oppressed and colonised
Bangsamoro people have to recognise the creative initiative
of Norman Freeman and the Free Bangsamoro Advocacy movement
for coming out with the fb (free bangsamoro) sign logo that
is now being used as profile photos in Facebook of the
'Reform ARMM Now' group and prominent personalities, like
Khal Mambuay-Campong, Eiryneon Wave, Cocoy Tulawie, Drieza
Al-Moro, Irdf Abby, Baileng Muntawil, Tommy Romeros Pangcoga,
Jun Macarambon, A Marcoum Arabain, Sam Alih Mustal and
progressive others.
The Bangsamoro people of Mindanao
under Philippine colonialism have also to express gratitude
to the different domestic and international groups in
Facebook, namely, ARMM Watch, Al-Adaala: Equity, Mindanao
Peace Observers, Maradeka, Junior Filipino Democrats, Moro
History and Culture, Macabebe Kingdom and the foreign-based
Anak Sug International, The Global Voices of
Palestine-Malaysia, Support The Freedom Flotilla Two,
Pueblos D Libia, Egipto, Tunez, Siria, Yemen, Bahrein, Pais
Con Dictadores, Go go Egypt!, Quantum Energy Laboratory,
Malaysia Peace and Welfare Club, Support Abdo Tounsi, Imam
Muculmana Sayyd Qutb, Aprendiendo Al Islam (Islam Americas)
and The Way to Peace.
It is heartwarming to note that the
influential groups in Facebook are all supportive of
Mindanao peace. The pro-people and pro-peace groupings have
had become fora of peaceful dialogue and constructive debate
on how to end the Filipino-Moro war in Mindanao for the sake
of the Christian, Muslim and Highlander inhabitants of the
war-torn region. Conscious of the suffering of the colonised
humanity, they have come to learn the similarity of the
Palestine Question and Bangsamoro Question, the two
controversial thorny issues debated annually in the OIC
Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers (ICFM) meetings
since 1974 that are in need of a comprehensive peaceful
solution.
Indeed, the 'Free Bangsamoro' movement
has come of age. Epitomising the sweeping freedom sentiments
storming the Arab countries in the Middle East, the loudest
cry for Bangsamoro freedom under Philippine colonialism akin
to the Palestine freedom under Israeli colonialism is now
the peaceful demand of friends and supporters throughout the
world in Facebook and Twitter. The inspiring twist of event
must now enlighten the revolutionary Bangsamoro leaders,
like MNLF Chairman Prof. Nur Misuari, MILF Chairman Alhaj
Murad Ebrahim, BIFM Ustaj Amiril Umbra Katu and BFM Ustaj
Khabir Malik, to heed the call of the mass broad base
Bangsamoro people. Not to be swayed by false pride and
colonial maneuver, the Bangsamoro leaders and people must
now unite together to struggle by any means possible to
regain freedom and national self-determination.for the
indigenous natives of the Bangsamoro homeland Mindanao, Sulu
and Palawan (MINSUPALA) under Philippine colonialism. Let
not history be unkind to the colonised Bangsamoro and
Filipino colonisers, who certainly have to peacefully end
the Mindanao war! *rrr/bfs
